It's Time To Clean. Yes, Those Dirty Cup Holders We're Coming For You!
Spring has sprung and summer is right around the corner. If you are anything like the staff here at Zappy’s you are a fan of a cool and crispy drink or snack after a long day on the job. There’s a reason gas stations are also known as convenience stores - that’s because they’re, well - convenient. You aren’t alone if you stop into your favorite gas store and throw your refreshing drink and snack into the cup holders of your daily driver as you hit the road towards your next destination.
As many of us know, it doesn't take long for small spots and particles left over from our afternoon snack to add up and to begin causing an eyesore of a cupholder. Not only do they appear nasty and grtimery, they can also begin to smell and become sticky if you don’t give them the proper love and attention they most certainly need.
Anymore, most cup holders in newer model cars are lined with a removable liner made of flexible plastic that can be easily removable for cleaning. You can simply remove the liner, and show it some elbow grease and it can be back to looking better than ever in no time. However, depending on how often and how dirty your liner may be - you may need to invest in some of the best cleaning products out there on the market. Luckily for you, we know a thing or two and can share with you what will and what won’t work. We can’t recommend this selection of interior car cleaners enough. There’s a product out there for every type of car and every type of material. The biggest thing to keep in mind if you have some grime that you just can’t seem to remove is to soak the liners in soap and water for 10-25 minutes. This will more than likely do all of the heavy lifting for you.
